PVE LLC’s superb location in Van Wagner Place, right off the westbound Arterial in the Town of Poughkeepsie, has been vital cog in its success – so much so that PVE will be expanding its offices and extending its lease at 48 Springside Ave.
“We love this location,” said Chief Operating Officer Chris Brown. His company’s civil, mechanical and structural engineers, geologists, landscape architects and surveyors provide environmental and geologic consultation, pollution studies, groundwater and asbestos services, civil structural engineering and geotechnical expertise. “It’s a great community, there’s plenty of parking and you have shops and plenty of other services nearby.”
The expansion is expected to break ground in fall 2024 and be completed in approximately six months. PVE is a national operation, with a total of seven locations in New York City, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Texas and California. Its Van Wagner Place location provides an ideal base locally. “One of the nice things about the world at large is that we’re able to now provide services for geographic locations anywhere,” Brown said. “Here at Van Wagner Place, we have a detached garage we use for equipment, the common area of the property is beautifully maintained, and there’s great proximity to restaurants and other businesses, which benefits our staff.”
